Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Hotel Principe Avila in Lisbon, I found it to be an exceptional choice for anyone seeking quality accommodation at an attractive price point. While not in the very center, its proximity to the Sao Sebastiao metro station made exploration effortless and convenient, a boon for both history enthusiasts and casual travelers alike. The rooms themselves were a delightful sanctuary-impeccably clean, stylishly modern, and soundproofed, which allowed for peaceful nights after long days of exploring the city's rich history. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail, with a comfortable bed complemented by a fantastic flat-screen TV and ample storage space, making it ideal for my longer stays with friends. Breakfast was a true highlight, featuring a wide array of delicious options that catered both to more indulgent palates and those seeking healthier choices. The staff were exceptionally warm and accommodating, ensuring every need was met, including preparing a thoughtful packed breakfast for my early departure. Hotel Principe Avila provided a comfortable base for our European adventures, with harmonious access to local landmarks and historical sites. I would highly recommend this hotel to my fellow history lovers and travelers looking for a quality stay in Lisbon.
